profileIno Karella is a freelance Visual Development Artist, currently based in Athens Greece. With almost two decades of extensive experience,  Ino’s portfolio clearly depicts her extraordinary talent and experience as a painter, visual designer, animator and illustrator.  Her work spans the whole range of media from feature films and television, video games, novels, publications, to designing cultural events for institutions.  

Ino trained in Fine Arts, specializing in Animation at Kent Institute of Art & Design, Experimental Animation at Surrey Institute of Art & Design,  before completing her training at California Institute of The Arts in Film & Video – Character Animation.

 Her early career consists of a long list of international high-profile projects and collaborations as a production painter, character designer, storyboard artist, animator and illustrator.  Her experience and specialization led her to hold the position of  Senior Concept Artist at Electronics Arts Los Angeles, developing games such as Medal of Honor, Lord of the Rings, Command&Conquer3 and Tiberium FPS (Command&Conquer) to name a few.  

Since 2009 Ino has been freelancing with Greece as her base. Recent clients include the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, The New Acropolis Museum, The Institute of Cultural Exchange, BIC®, Lynx SA and Psichogios publications.
