As in Concept Art, Storyboarding is also part of the baby steps a project takes before it moves into production.  One of my favorite parts of the process is the language I develop with each director or cinematographer. It's different every time, unique and quite personal. In a way the storyboard artist becomes the visual interpreter of the director's or cinematographer's ideas. Using illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture, commercial, animation, motion graphic or interactive media sequence, storyboards are essential for a  proper visual language and in a way a sneak peak at the final visual product. They allow the directors, animators and cinematographer's to work out the screenplay, camera positioning, shot list and timing issues that may occur.
